The wedding at Scottish Rite Maddie and Raymond was nothing short of magical, some love stories are simply meant to be. Planning a wedding from out of state is no small feat, but Maddie’s kindness, attention to detail, and unwavering excitement made every moment leading up to their big day effortless and enjoyable. From the elegant architecture of the venue to the heartfelt moments shared between family and friends, their wedding was a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth. As wedding videographers, capturing their day was an absolute joy—every glance, every laugh, and every carefully planned detail came together to create a celebration they’ll never forget. All in all, keep reading for all the stunning moments from Maddie & Raymond’s wedding!
Firstly arrived at the Omni Severin Hotel to meet with Sarah from Plum and Poppy and Danielle Harris Photography. Eventually, went through the timeline and parking plans for the ceremony at St. John The Evangelist. We eventually had a few moments to capture the flat lay and some minor details like Mcnamara Florist’s florals. They especially have some of the best wedding florals in the state of Indiana, and they are my favorite!
Overall, Maddie and Raymond’s wedding ceremony at St. John the Evangelist was nothing short of beautiful and breathtaking! Raymond was emotion when he first got to see his soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle with her dad. Later, in this blog, I will go over the key points of hiring A-Team Vendors.
Furthermore, in downtown Indianapolis at Scottish Rite, Danielle Harris Photography and I captured the bridal party just outside their venue. With this in mind, just a tip with the groomsmen; yes I know there are 2 buttons on your jacket. However, you only want the top one buttoned only. In conclusion, the reason for this, is to avoid unflattering figures. So having the 2nd button, buttoned will make your jacket feel tighter, and the bottom flaps will cause you to have an unusually larger waist. Just so the camera DOESN’T add 10 extra pounds, you’re welcome, guys!
I met Sarah from Plum and Poppy just weeks before the wedding. Meanwhile, we got to meet each other for the first time at a coffee shop and we talked about the wedding industry. Furthermore, I began to notice that we shared similar interests in the wedding industry. For the most part, we are both highly dedicated to our couples, providing a superior client experience from our first meeting to delivering our final product.
Sarah is certainly organized, quick thinking, and a phenomenal problem solver! She also provides strong communication skills and great people skills, clearly communicating to keep everyone on time and on the same page.
Although, weddings rarely go to the exact plan. Sarah thinks on her feet and squashes all last-minute challenges so effortlessly. Whether it’s a vendor delay or wardrobe malfunctions, she always has a backup plan.
In any event, The Scottish Rite is known for its majestic stonework, intricate stained glass windows, and soaring ceilings. Even more, it provides a fairytale-like atmosphere that looks incredible. In addition, the Grand Ballroom is a breathtaking space with high vaulted ceilings and a massive elegant chandelier, perfect for a large reception. Additionally, a popular quality is having your guests hang out on the upstairs balcony surrounding the grand hall. So you and your partner have the entire floor to yourself for your first dance.
Whether you’re envisioning a classic black-tie wedding, a romantic candlelit affair, or a luxurious vintage-inspired celebration. Given that, the Scottish Rite is the perfect setting to bring your wedding vision to life. If you are looking for a stunning and elegant wedding in Indianapolis, Scottish Rite is it!
Overall, planning timelines to ensuring every detail is picture-perfect, having an A-Team of wedding vendors is the key to a smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable wedding day. In addition, here’s why hiring the right professionals can make or break your big day—and how they work together to create a flawless experience. As a result, Maddie and Raymond understood this, so that’s why they chose wisely what vendors would work best together.
A top-tier vendor team knows how to work together effortlessly, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. They communicate behind the scenes, troubleshoot any potential hiccups, and make sure your wedding day flows seamlessly.
Imagine trying to juggle vendors, timelines, and last-minute details on your wedding day—no, thank you! A professional team handles everything, so you can focus on what truly matters: celebrating your love and enjoying the moment.
From capturing stunning photos to serving delicious food and creating breathtaking floral arrangements, hiring seasoned vendors means you’re investing in exceptional quality and expertise. They bring experience, creativity, and industry knowledge to elevate every aspect of your wedding.
No matter how well you plan, weddings often come with unexpected surprises. A strong vendor team knows how to pivot quickly, solve problems behind the scenes, and keep everything on track—so you never even have to worry.
Your wedding should be a true reflection of you as a couple. The right vendors will go beyond the basics to personalize every detail, from unique floral installations to a custom wedding film that tells your love story in the most beautiful way.
A smooth, well-planned wedding means happy guests. From seamless check-ins to an incredible dinner and a packed dance floor, an A-Team of vendors ensures your loved ones have an amazing time celebrating with you.
