Their Love Story
Before they ever said “I do,” Megan and Marcus started as friends though it didn’t take long about a month! Before friendship grew into something more. Megan was instantly drawn to Marcus’ quick wit, his energy, and yes his great hair and his butt, as she’ll lovingly admit! Marcus admired Megan’s heart, her humor, and the way she made even the most ordinary moments feel meaningful, which flourished during their time in this charming city of Bloomington, Indiana.
As a married couple, they find joy in the everyday. Megan loves spending weekends running errands, cleaning the kitchen, and ending the night with a cozy dinner together. Marcus cherishes sharing life’s simple routines cooking, cleaning, and catching up after a long day. Their relationship thrives in the “mundane,” because to them, life is better when shared side by side.

The Proposal
Marcus planned a proposal filled with surprises, love, and a little bit of chaos in the best way. Earlier that week, Megan’s friends kept asking if she wanted to get her nails done (a big hint she brushed off). On the day of, she was hosting a team bonding event with her athletes, and when they insisted on dressing up and going to Chick-fil-A, she was less than thrilled.
After work, a friend offered to pick her up for dinner near Indiana University’s campus. But when Megan saw on Instagram that one of her out-of-town friends had suddenly posted from Indianapolis, things started clicking. Within minutes, she realized all her loved ones were close by including Marcus.
Her friend led her to the Rosewell House on IU’s campus, where Marcus was waiting to ask the easiest “yes” she’s ever said. It was a perfect, heartfelt moment surrounded by family and friends just the way they wanted it. Their Bloomington Indiana wedding journey had reached another milestone.

One of the most touching moments of the night was when they gave their parents a “first dance” of their own. While planning, they realized both sets of parents never had that moment at their own weddings so Megan and Marcus decided to create it for them. It was an emotional, full-circle tribute that perfectly captured the heart of their celebration: honoring family, love, and legacy.
